History - In 2000 local community and tribal entrepreneurs, tourism agencies, state park rangers, museum curators, chambers of commerce and interested individuals collaborated and formed the Indians and Pioneers organization. Goal - The goal of this organization and the website is to provide an ongoing networking tool for the traveler, the membership and interested individuals in our history, culture, natural and physical resources, beauty and services available in our area. Links - By providing links on your journey from east to west or west to east on the Oyate Trail of the Bridges to Buttes Scenic Byway, we hope to provide resources to make a fun experience for all.
